Sam Johnson
Sam was born in Minneapolis, MT and came to New Mexico in 1995, he started guiding three years later and has been guiding for Santa Fe Rafting Company for ten years now. He decided to stay here for the outdoor community, nice weather, and four changing seasons. He has a degree in Art Studio from the University of New Mexico, and spends his winters teaching and making pottery. His favorite thing about being a guide is the rapids! He loves living here in Santa Fe because its small and he runs into people he knows all the time. He loves guiding because he gets to spend time with the same friends every year.
